It’s a 6 mile ride from the campground into Newburyport. It’s a very nice ride. Along with a lot of tidal marshes.
Before crossing the bridge into Newburyport, I like to stop here and take a good long look across the harbor. This is the Merrimack River.

The Thirsty Whale. Where someone I know, had so much to drink they wouldn’t even let him in. He then proceeded back to the waterfront, where he fell off the pier into the ocean.
So many nice spaces to spend some time in Newburyport. Here’s a few more followed by a video at the end.
